Frequent 3b and 1e bluescreens.

Ever since I bought and installed my Radeon R9 290, I've been having constant bluescreen issues. I'm not positive that this is the root cause but it's the only thing I can place the blame on as of this moment! I've had some crashes before, but never at this consistent frequency.

I've uninstalled the drivers, reinstalled new ones, re-seated the card and memory, all to no avail.

The error code that's been popping up most frequently is 0x0000003b. Also had the occasional 01e

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At first, get back to the latest WHQL display driver only, 14.4 WHQL.

Uninstall your installed version of the display driver.

Then clean up any possible leftover.

Then install version 14.4 WHQL only.

See how it goes. Let us know.

Well, that solution worked for a couple of days but didn't fix it permanently unfortunately...

Here is the newest log.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark. Take a screenshot of the furmark window before closing it. Upload the screenshot for us.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Also, make it sure that nothing is overclocked there.

We may apply another driver version later depending on the situation.

Also attached are two Furmark screenshots. One of the settings window, and one of the test itself.

I will install the Beta driver listed, and update accordingly.

Thank you again for the help.

Edit: Have now installed driver 14.7. Will update asap.
