Freshly installed OS win7 64bit taking 30 seconds at Welcome screen

I just installed windows last night without any software on it but all the drives it takes about 30 seconds from putting in my password. I have nothing what so ever running in startup so I'm a bit confused. I'm using Crucial brand new SSD and 16gigs of G.Skill ram and both are working fine. Any idea? I didn't update windows.

Really doesn't make sense that you have that much RAM and SSD and it's that slow. My 2GB RAM laptop without an SSD boots in about 5 seconds from welcome screen. Try installing updates and see if that helps.

Did you set your ssd to ahci mode? Try to update windows if it gonna help.

Yes its currently at Ahci mode and I tested it with AS SSD Benchmark my score was 605 or something like that. I will try running all the updates and see if that fixes it.

Did you follow the steps to get a perfect Clean Reinstall? These are the same for retail.

If so establish a clean boot, check the logs for repeat errors and use System resources to find solutions in Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.

I would also reseat the RAM swapping sticks to see if it makes a difference. Does all your RAM register?

everything was left at default, I didn't hide the icons or change the background color.

I would also reseat the RAM swapping sticks to see if it makes a difference. Does all your RAM register?

Yes since it was a brand hard drive, did a clean install. I'll look at the event logs to see if there are any errors and yes all of my ram registers. I'll try reseating it to see if that would help and update if it does.

i just timed my login screen to desktop its just under 30 seconds. ill have a look in the registry to see what my time is set at.
