They may have the same name - but they are very different files (and the executable is differently named)

You need Windows6.1-KB971033-x64.MSU

I downloaded the file at 64 bit and it did not work.
I posted in the forum that I downloaded the file KB971033 and it didnt work.
I got noticed that it is not the 64bit because wrong assumption of the poster...
therefore I mentioned that they both have the same name no matter the 64 or 86x they have the same name however I downloaded the right one and it didnt work ....
and however now I tried the scan on prompt command now my windows does not even boot.
so I kinda gave up.
thanks I appreciate all your replys.

In that case you have some major problems with your operating system. - either there is a hack preventing the proper installation of the patch, or the system is not recognising executables properly.

I have seen this type of thing caused by AV interference in the past - You apparently have AVG installed currently, but what other AVs have EVER been installed on this machine (since the last format/install)?

Please run a full CHKDSK and SFC scan....

Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-click on the Command Prompt entry
Select Run as Administrator and accept the UAC prompt - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up.

At the Command prompt, type

CHKDSK C: /R

and hit the Enter key.
You will be told that the drive is locked,
and the CHKDSK will run at he next boot - hit the Y key, press Enter, and then reboot.

The CHKDSK will take a few hours depending on the size of the drive, so be patient!

After the CHKDSK has run, Windows should boot normally (possibly after a second auto-reboot) -
then run the SFC.

SFC -System File Checker - Instructions
Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-click on the Command Prompt entry
Select Run as Administrator and accept the UAC prompt - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up.

At the Command prompt, type

SFC /SCANNOW

and hit the Enter key

Wait for the scan to finish - make a note of any error messages - and then reboot.

Copy the CBS.log file created (C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log) to your desktop (you can't manipulate it directly) and then compress the copy and upload it to your SkyDrive Public folder (http://skydrive.live.com ) and post a link to it so that I can take a look.

You also mentioned that you were using a Drivers Disk which can get you into trouble since Win7 is a driver-complete OS in the installer, then quickly updated via optional Windows Updates when you enable Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3). Install all IMportant and Optional Updates then onlly import drivers which are still missing in Device Manager.

Reinstall with the clean ISO provided above for your licensed version, wiping the HD first of any conflicting boot code with Diskpart Clean Command.
