I have just installed Front Page 2003 on my Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit computer, and it keeps wanting to install the program over and over again. I keep getting the message: "Please Wait While Windows Configures Microsoft Office Front Page 2003... Gathering required information..." Does anyone have a clue as to why this is happening???

Thanks for any and all responses!

FP2003 is very old. I have it installed, but as Office 2003 is in the same category as Windows XP its time to move on.

FP2003 also has old, obsolete and non standard, HTML code and for that reason should be avoided.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my web sites with a new product and will be replacing my web sites that were built with FP2003.

However, I also had Office 2003 installed BEFORE I installed FP2003 and maybe that is an issue?

Use the System Restore and restore the PC to an available restore date that is before you initially tried to install FP2003. That will give you a "clean start" and then try to install it.

In reference to Office 2003, I have also abandoned that, because of the Microsoft end of life (non) support. I'm now using Libre Office and Thunderbird for e-mail.
