Hi. I am having the worst time. When my laptop sits idle - like I go to have dinner I come back and it has gotten the BSOD.

I get messages like "Drivers are causing Windows to resume slowly:
Name: Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework Reflector
Filename: WUDFRd.sys
Publisher: Microsoft
Device: SD
..."

The laptop came with Vista 64 and one month later they gave me the Win 7 Home Premium 64 upgrade. They have not been any real help in resloving my issues. They say I should run it under Vista.

What I really want to do is run it with the Win 7 Ultimate so I can use Bitlocker. They tell me it not compatible with the Ultimate version. Is this possible? I now know that the unit does not have the TPM chip, but for me that is ok, I'll just use a jump drive with the bitlocker unlock code.

The first thing is to stop the crashing.

Thanks for your help.

Update every Fujitsu driver possible, avoid using Vista drivers on your system since they're obsolete.

Your single dump provides very little information, if you get more BSODs be sure to upload the latest dump files. :)

We'll need the newer .dmp files for analysis, those reports aren't of any use.
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

According to your last dump file the culprit is netw5v64.sys - Intel Wireless WiFi Link Driver, update it using either the Intel update utility or get a newer version from Fujitsu's website (linked in my first post)

Fujitsu Lifebook A6230 BSOD During Laptop Idle Periods (cont. 5)

Dam, it happened again.

Since the laptop already had the drivers from the Fujitsu site, I used the Intel update.

I've attached updated BSOD files for review.

Another question: intermittently I get a display driver crash. The whole system locks up, the screen goes to black and then refreshes. Could this be causing or part of the problem?

the event viewer has tons of items, I just do not know how to create a report to show you.

Thanks.
