Getting my second computer to access the internet

Hi,
I have 2 computers (both Win7) that are networked through cable, no router, they work fine but i can only get the internet with the computer that it is plugged into.

It is a 3g modem plugged into the USB.

I went into the shop and he was saying something bout them carrying their own blah and not working in Windows and after a while i went crossed eyed and it all turned into blah blah as he was quickly flicking his screens from one to the other.

I was hoping that someone here could give me a step by step for a total dummy to get my second computer to be able to access the net.

Now i will sit back and chew my nails hoping that someone can help me.

I would use a simple Ethernet switch to attach both PCs to the modem.

Where is the cable from the ISP going to?

You have the modem on one computer, the internet is plugged into the back of that computer while the other computers network cable is plugged into the modem? I have no experience (or even heard of USB modems) so I'm assuming there is some sort of configuration you have to do in order for it to properly share the internet.

What model Modem is it?
