h166 drivers

I'm looking for drivers for my h166 bluetooth adapter . I Googled it and all I get is links to buy registry software. any one have it . I have the drivers on my other computer but don't know how about getting it off my other any suggestions would be great

Are the Bluetooth services started?

it wont let me post it let me try something else. it says Bluetooth peripheral drivers cant be installed . the actual Bluetooth dongle reads it but when windows tries to connect there is a problem there is no discovery on the h1 66 its a standard 3.5mm aux bt

What are you trying to connect? It seems the problem is with the device and not the dongle?

I thought that was it also the device not the dongle so I got another device and the same results . so I'm leaning towards the dongle but the computer doesn't have a problem drivers wise with the dongle . the dongle won't connect to my 0hone but the two devices will connect to my phone

Can you please give full names of the 2 devices that won't connect so we can look?
Also did you install the chipset driver? That Coprocessor looks like it can use a driver too.

I tried downloading a croprocessor online and got the same results buy some software . the two different devices are the same the bluetooth adapter .

Did you restart PC yet?

Right click coprocessor - properties - details - hardware Ids - right click copy - then paste here
(If you wish to do it yourself - PCI Vendor and Device Lists - enter the 4 letter/number code after DEV_ to appropriate field and search, then find the one with correct VEN_ code.)

I still think those devices that need drivers are the ones you are trying to connect and not the dongle. Doesn't hurt to write the names here.

Note: I will go to sleep very soon, I will check back tomorrow if no one picks up from where I left

I restarted twice same results the two item are the same one from the ebay link I posted above I have two of them . also I tried to connect my phone s5 no luck what do u mean by coprocessor properties

In device manager, right click coprocessor and follow the steps given earlier.

From the E-Bay link:

1. Connect the Bluetooth receiver and the audio speaker by the 3.5 mm audio cable.
2. Open the slide switch-turns on the Bluetooth music receiver.
3. Open "Bluetooth setting" of the Bluetooth enabled devices, and search the device named " H166" to pair, (pairing code: 0000).
4. After successful connection, the blue LED light alone flash slowly, and the music can be played immediately.

No where a mention of a driver.

yea I go rid of the missing driver on the hardrive I just have tht code for the BT adapter. on my other computer I had to update the software and from what I remember when I opened action center it gave me a download to make it work. however I don't know where the drivers are on my other computer to copy . I'm running windows 7 ultimate 32 bit on my other pc

So here's the update I used a newer computer same model but a latpp version tht had bluetooth built in and I downloaded all the drivers and did a couple of restarts and I got it to connect but it plays like a cd tht skipping. here's a link to the video I used for the idea . I used the same model he used any suggestions.

ok ill try that i think its the blue tooth dongle because it was skiipping and. i tired to add another bluetooth device and it couldnt find it ill post my results
