Hi,

I have a problem with my Laptop Hard Drive. It's a WDC WD5000LPVT-75G33T0

My Hard Drive is acting normal if I do almost nothing, like surfing on the web, but if I watch a video on
YouTube or whatever, my HDD activity is too high to play the video for a short while.

Almost every time I take a short break or rewind the video to replay that funny or interesting part, my HDD activity is high again and don't let me to play the video again for a short while.

This problem occurs on all my Windows OS's, and it exists for I think 1 month-2 weeks. Here a screenshot of my Disk Management Window (I'm Dutch, so sorry if you can't read it):

I don't know what to do now anymore, because I've done this already before:

Disk defragment, sfc /scannow (as Administrator), Disk cleaner, decrease the pagefile.

Can somebody help me please?

it exists for I think 1 month-2 weeks.

Chances are it's due to the switch from flash to html5. Try turning off hardware acceleration in the browser for the time being, or tweak any other html5 settings. Or try a different browser.

Thanks for a quick replay! It is solved. I was rebooting my PC for checking if the problems were solved before I've read your reaction. I've disabled HTML5 with an extension (unfortunately YouTube can't disable it for me on their website).

Thanks for solving my issue! I did not expect that the first reaction was the best :).

Glad that worked out. html5 will get better as it goes.
