Ive re-installed windows twice since the pvr stopped working but ever since I just cant get the drivers to install no matter what. I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit SP1.
That means what it says: no hardware was found to install the driver for.
This means that the HD-PVR (which I believe is a external device?) is not connected correctly, not getting power, is not detected by the system, or is defective.
Check to see if it shows up in Devices and Printers and/or Device Manager when it is connected to the machine. Also check all connections.

Thanks for the help! It shows up in devices and printers as unknown device, says that it needs troubleshooting, I troubleshoot which tells me there is a problem and doesnt fix anything. Ill unplug everything and plug everything back in on the pvr later and see what happens
ahh fixed now, anyone who has this problem in the future I just ran hcwclear.exe from the disk that comes with the pvr and unpluged everything from the pvr and plugged them back in and installed the drivers from the disk Thanks guys
