Help omg!!

I was playing WoW and got up for a second, my brother came and messed with the video settings and changed the gamma. Now my entire screen is physcadelic and I cant change it in any way. Please help!

Edit: also affects my bios screen, but how could It have done something to my monitor?

Do you know how he changed the gamma? as in physically with the monitor's buttons? or with Windows settings?

If you play WoW you get an options menu for video, and he changed it there. Its a laptop monitor and therefore has no buttons.

hmmm. i dont play WOW, tried looking for a "set to defaults" button anywhere in the settings?

tried that, but I went into control panel searched it for "gamma" And came up with some truetype font stuff, clicked display and clicked calibrate colors. I made it.... sortof look better. But its still reaaaaaaaaaaalllly bright at the top.

Im going to connect it to another monitor to find out if its windows or my monitor.... please not be my monitor..

Hmm, what graphics card are you running? by the spec's uve filled in im not even sure if thats a graphics card S:

Highly doubt it.. some setting somewhere on your laptop should fix it..

Judging by the amount of random special characters in that post, i dont think you will have a brother for long?

And im not exactly sure how thats come to be?

If it's a CRT monitor (big, deep and really heavy) look for a 'reset' button on the panel, you want to degauss the monitor, especially if he waved a radar magnet* in front of the screen.

If it's a panel (slim and relatively light) you might also try to factory default the panel, using settings in the menu.
