Solved Here is a new one wireless works fine will lan wont connect
I dont remember this much trouble before.
I have been connected via wireless due to i needed the lan for another comp.
It has been hooked up to lan before.
The other comp isn't using the lan so i went to plug in my old vista.
Now it wont get on the internet.
It can see the other computers connected but it can't network to them....it can just see them.
The lan is enabled. But it says limited access if that means anything.
In order to use the internet i must use my wireless.
My Vista has never failed to fail yet
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you try to manually enter the IP configuration in adapter settings? could you post the ipconfig /all command?
