High DPC Latency

I ran DPC Latency Checker with drivers disabled for Network adapters, Internal modems, Internal sound devices, Comm 1, Printer, Portable Devices G:, H:, I:, and J:, Imaging devices, DVD/CD-ROM Devices, UPS, and Acronic Backup Archive Explorer. The result was latency exceeding 1600 Microseconds for at least one second out of every minute.

I looked at RATTV3, but the documentation said it was for Windows XP and I am using a Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit OS.

ParetoLogic Health Advisor says one of my drivers is not up to date, but it is a Microsoft driver and Microsoft says it is the latest version. ParetoLogic anti-virus did a thorough check (12 hours) and found no viruses. Zone Alarm finds no viruses.

The system is very slow much of the time and the speakers crackle from time to time. I was having blue screens several times a day, but afterscanning with the Health Advisor they only occur about once a day.

Any ideas about how I can fix this?

Just as an aside it might be Zone Alarm.

I closed Zone Alarm while running the DPC Latency Checker, so that does not appear to be the problem.
