how can i get rid of my taskbar jump list?

i have 2 notepad docs on my quick launch list. one is just the blank notepad doc & the other is a saved notepad document with info on it. instead of having separate icons for each, they are grouped together in a list like you see here...

its called a taskbar jump list. how do i make it so that each document has its own separate icon?

shot in the dark here, but could you create a shortcut of the saved doc with info on and then pin that to the taskbar.
giving you a jumplist for each pinned doc ,worth trying .
delete shorcut if it doesnt work.
