How do i lower my RAM usage, i have 2GB ram and it's always at 98%

Hmm, you don't go around deleting System Restore files/folders manually.

Computer - right click - Properties - System Protection - Select C - Configure
post a screenshot.

Also, Computer - right click - Properties - Advanced System Settings - Performance (settings) - Advanced - Change
post a screenshot.

Rather than actually uninstalling Avast, within its Uninstall/Modify mode, unclick/uncheck modules that you do not need or want, such as: browser whatever, VPN whatever, grimefighter, sandbox [if not used], do keep rescue disk & network whatever. It's 6am, and I cannot remember the full names right now...

I allow my computer to save backup files in Disk D, Just checked and i allowed it to use 58gb at least lol
and Local Disk C is set at 500mb.
I deleted backup files saved on local disk D last month and ever since then i disabled the backup function.
I managed to sort of fix the RAM usage problem(thank you to that guy who mentioned it), turns out SVCHost was causing that problem, but whenever i end that program through Task Manager, it makes my windows 7 feel like windows classic, it loses its touch.

You may want to look at clearing out your %Temp% directory also...

First post here -- http://www.sevenforums.com/performa...ws-7-temporary-files-recover-real-estate.html will give you a decent walkthrough on doing this.

i know this method lol, I did it when i was having trouble and was only able to delete 206mb.

With all these changes, have you recently restarted your machine to let everything resync?

Let us know what it looks like when you come back!
