How do I make a windows 7 boot disk?

I'm building a new computer and I heard that you can make a bootable windows 7 boot disk? It could save me $100+. Please reply!

Everyone has one of those. It's called the C: drive.
How can you save $100 ?

You want to install Win7 to your new computer? You need to buy the license, which conveniently comes with the disk.

If you only need the Repair disk, make it from Win7 like this: System Repair Disc - Create

If you already have the license, you'll need to find an installer for the same version: Reinstalling Windows 7

Depends on what you mean by "boot disk".

If you mean a bootable disk that will allow you to Install Win7, we have tutorials on the forum that will walk you through doing that -- but you need Win7 installation media to do that.

If you mean a bootable disk from which you can RUN Win7, then no, there's no way to do that. The boot disks you read about actually run WinPE -- which is NOT Win7.
