Its great, but it will be useless if we don't know your hardware - post a screenshot of HWinfo32's summary screen in my driver's guide - also what PSU do you have? What connectors, amps, and rail's?
Don't customize - its overpriced, build it yourself and that doesn't really help - it could be a cheap $50 PSU. Essentially, build it yourself.
Alienware is a rip off even if you can afford it. The card is fine, but I would strongly recommend you build a new PC.
I don't agree with that universally. If the person has never done it before and they don't have anybody there who can help them, this can be a very daunting task that might not turn out the best. I've built so many machines and helped friends with theirs that building a machine for me is like making a box of macaroni and cheese at this point.exactly building it yourself is the best way and its easy![]()
very true, but as many of us on here that have built them he should have no problem hahaI don't agree with that universally. I do agree that we can provide him with help and recommendations if he chooses to put the machine together himself...but I don't think it's wise to push him into this decision and assume it's the best solution.
However, I do concur that while Alienware machines are nice...for what you get..they are overpriced and you can do much better.
