This is an interesting comparison. But the big cities are atypical. E.g. there is a huge difference between NYC and Florida or Paris and the Perigord. The same in all other countries I have lived in.

I am surprised some don't seem happy with the NHS.

It has always been truly excellent in my experience.

Perhaps it depends where you live.

There is no charge at the point of contact - the cost is borne by all taxpayers. It is expensive, with a lot of waste introduced by the last government.
