Solved How to connect to a computer not using static Ip

I am connected to an internet service provide which assigns a new IP address each time I connect to the internet. The kind of IP address given is internal one, something in the range of 10.141.x.x.
Now I would like to know about how an external computer get connected to my computer. Someone told me about port forwarding but I would like to how to get that.

If you want to control your computer from somewhere else, Logmein is a free program and works. the free version does not allow file transfers but most everything else works fine.

What do you really want to allow someone on an external computer to do?

Port forwarding will work but one problem is that if you IP changes all the time, that would make it difficult but not impossible.

Actually I had been trying to understand the way programs like utorrent connect to internal computers (as in the case of one of its features called Remote utorrent and webUI).
I would be grateful if you give me a practical explanation to this type of connections

Amazing, I do not know much about utorrent. From what little I do know, it is a file sharing system that will get you in trouble as many trojans and virus's are transferred that way. If you don't set it up correctly, everything on your computer would be available to others. Mostly where pirated movies and songs get transferred.

I would not get involved with it.

Now I got to know how exactly these stuffs work. Actually I am probably behind a NAT network and therefore end-to-end connection is perhaps not possible. You said port forwarding will somehow help but I don't think so. It appears as I am behind a overloading NAT configuration which changes port each time I request a packet.

It appears to me that you have a bad "omen" about uTorrent!!!

Amazing, where did you ever get the idea that I have a "bad omen" about uTorrent

Believe me that being behind a NAT network does not protect you from people getting into your computer when you set up a uTorrent site and allow downloads. Logmein and other programs have a way of allowing you access even when behind a router.
