here's the math for just a 12 character alphanumeric password -

26 upper/lower case letters + 10 digits = 62 possible characters
number of combinations of 12 of these = 62 to the power of 12 (62 multiplied by itself 12 times)

which is 3 followed by 21 zero's

I'm not going to use that password finder such way, at all.
I need some tool that gets than me some supposed passwords (ones that I can remember) and supports the spaces as well, and works only on those, and finally give me the result.

@khoshtipi - I was just trying to lighten things a bit, since someone mentioned deleting the thread due to forum pw rules.

I understand your plight - I repair pcs for friends etc and its not unusual for a customer to have forgotten their password. There are programs for login pw's that use rainbow tables which are quicker than brute force and can solve 8 character passwords in a reasonable time, but as my post pointed out, the complexity increases exponentially. I hope you haven't lost your work.

Thank you for your comment. Yeah, may be that rainbow table could solve my problem, if 8 characters was the length of password. Like you, me too, am the computer software problems resolver and ..., I have my office. I'll be glad to be in communication (around these issues) with you in fb.
