How to undo Windows 10 after 10 Days with recovery usb

Hi
I "upgraded" to Windows 10 more than 2 weeks ago thinking that I could revert within 30 days if I was not happy with it. Unfortunately, the revert option is now 10 days.
I have a dell inspiron which came with windows 7 installed.
The laptop has slowed to a crawl.
I have a recovery usb which I created on when I got the laptop.
Would anyone know what is my best option?

Welcome to the forum. You can role back win10 the option should still be there what is the recovery usb is it a bootable image or other?

Thanks for the fast reply. Tried to roll back but the response is unable after 10 days. The recovery usb does not appear to be bootable as I have tried to use it using advanced boot up with system recovery

How did you make the USB. Have you still got a windows.old folder?

samuria, if the OP has the original Windows 7 install DVD, is there a way to use that? I have never done a W10 to W7 roll-back, hence, my question.

First of all, you must set Explorer to show hidden and system files.
Before you do anything, backup your data to an external disk.
On Windows.old folder are all the Win 7 files and folders. As Samuria asked, do you still have Windows.old folder?

You can always reinstall Win 7 using Dell Factory Recover or using a Win 7 installation disk and the Win 7 key from the COA sticker.

Hi. Thanks for all the replies. I do not have a windows.old folder.
I do not have a windows 7 dvd.
I have a usb which I created when I got the laptop. I used "dell datasafe local backup" to create "recovery media"

Belkin Fd7050 n USB using Railink RT2870 drivers, more upto date
As I wrote before, you can launch Factory Recover and it will install win 7.
You MUST backup your data as it will format the C: partition and install an image from the Dell recovery partition.
You will end as it came from factory.
For the updates, use Simplix
