So was the bottom line that you need a powered adapter in order to make the 3rd monitor work? If so, and you want to sell the adapter, what is it and what is your asking price?

I had the same problem. When I hook up my third monitor with the DB adapter it flickers, or it looks like there are dead pixels on the screen. Once you got it working did you have to set up the three monitors with catalyst, or could you just plug it in?

I just plugged mine in and it worked, assuming you have the powered adapter.

Radeon 5570 and the powered displayport adapter, 100$ shipped seems reasonable but ill take offers

Don't really want to split up the two but if you just need the adapter i will.

Its been a while but i dont think i had to set up anything in catalyst. Just had to change the monitors to the correct resolution and setup in the program built into windows. I do remember i had some flickering pixels and red lines on a single monitor, it was because one of the cables wasn't completely plugged in. Might want to check that.

Okay thanks. I just bought a new adapter for it and it works better than the old one, but it still flickers every now and then. I'll try making sure it's plugged in properly before giving up on this one too.

I had some flickering on all 3 of my monitors with my 5000 series Radeon card until I went to Catalyst Control Center and turned off over clock under the performance tab.
