Hey all, hope that title didn't throw you off.

Anyways, I have an HP laptop with Windows 7 RTM running. One of the features of this laptop is a cool little bar above the keyboard with touch panel controls for the wireless, audio, and and a power switch.

Before installing Windows 7, when I would hit the audio mute button, the button would turn from a white to a orangish-red. Now that I've installed Win7, that feature no longer works. It will still mute the audio, but it will not switch colors.

The odd thing is, when I'm booting up and logging in, the audio mute button will turn the orange color, but as soon as Win7 starts up, it will return to the white.

I was wondering what HP software controlled that button, or if something else would fix it?

Thanks all!

It is probably not compatible with W7. Check for driver updates on the official website.
