hi I am building a gaming computer and have picked out all my hardware. I just want to make sure that every thing will play nice and that it is a decent machine. here is my hardware list.

I love spending other peoples money for sure... so, can we safely say that you have a Grand for a Gaming Budget?

What is the price of the AMD, SSD and Gskill Ram? the Ram seems cheap unless you mean 75 bucks per 8 GBs.

Why do you need to have a 240GB SSD, that extra money could be used somewhere else... a 120/128GB SSD should suffice

What kind of games are you playing? Campaign or Multiply only? What Genre(s)... if you give us more info, perhaps we can further help you or choose better components for what you want to do?

What Monitor do you have now?

Is the case that bad that you need extra cooling? or do you play for 16 hours straight This is just my personal opinion but I do play 2 to 3 hours straight (Campaigns mind you) and my rig does not seem to need more cooling than what comes stock with my CPU. My rig do have a bunch of fans, many of them never initialize and I figure its because it is not needed.

I already own the ssd for a pervious project that did not work out.
the amd costs $139.99
and the ram is 2 4gb ddr4
I play online and campaign. fps, moba, sandbox, action/adventure but my current rig limits this
I have a Samsung syncmaster s20b350 monitor

The FX-4350 is not really a brilliant CPU, if you're looking at a Bulldozer build I'd at least go FX-6300, or ideally the FX-6350. If you're not overclocking your CPU I'd drop the H60 and go for an air cooler (a triple copper heatpipe cooler will be more than adequate) and try to pump some more funds into your GPU.

I will be swiching the fx cpu for a amd a10 6800k and swapping the cooler with a coolermaster 212 evo

Don't get an APU, I have an A10-5800k in my backup rig and it's nowhere near as good as the FX-6350 is. Again, I'd strongly recommend you don't get an APU, they're pointless anyway when you're buying a dedicated GPU.

I have never liked AMD for gaming, I do use them as a work/office mules... but that's just me.

On the other hand, I suggested an Asus GTX660 2GBs for 180 but you rather spend 220 for the same spec video card... what am I missing here? :shock:

I'm sorry I missed that post the asus one has more graphics memory and is cheaper so I think I will go with that
