I don't have 'Repair my Computer' when tapping F8

I don't have the ability to boot into the repair environment, is there any way I can restore/install it? I'm trying to fix my windows updates, they're corrupt.

I need to access winsxs folder

You can access the Repair Environment using a Retail Windows Disc.

Boot using the disk and carefully read the options offered - one will be to Repair the Windows install. Pick that and then follow the instructions to open a Command Prompt window.

If you don't have a disk, you can download the ISO and create one - use the links from here to download the ISO and use the Windows Disk Image Burner to burn it to DVD
