I have been thinking about a new card which one is better

I was looking at these two cards

Witch one has more bang for the buck thanks

The EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti Superclocked

I have heard that some nvidia's\evga's have had driver probs that lead to blue screen.

So if someone has used ether of these cards and have had a problem please let me know

Also if someone would like to suggest a card feel free to post it

I can only afford $200 or lees so please dont suggest to expensive

The GTX460 would have significantly better performance than the 550.

There are two versions: one with 1GB of RAM, a second with 768MB. The 1GB cards have better performance than the 768MB ones.

A quick glance at some benchmarks suggests that the 1GB 460 and the Radeon 6870 give similar performance.

Both cards have two 6 pin PCI-E power connectors, so their PSU requirements are about the same. Your PSU looks adequate, although it has a single 6 pin PCI-E power connector. You might get by with the adapter that's included with most cards. (The Orion HP585D is a cheapie, though.)

I've used both ATI (AMD) and nVidia cards over many years. I find that I prefer nVidia's drivers, but others may disagree. I've been quite happy with my current GTX480.

The sapphire 6870 is a nice card and I would opt for it over the GTX550. But, if you think about bobkn's comments I would go for a 1GB 460 over both of your suggestions.

With $200 or less, I agree the 1GB 460GTX, would be the better choice.

There is however one other option that may be even more attractive, and thats the SuperClocked GTX 560:

Also a good choice, more near the top of the $200 range than the 1GB GTX460 would be.
