Solved I want to take files from one computer to another with a USB 3.0 cable

So yeah, i recently bought this USB 3.0 cable (Male to Male, as you can see in the picture) and I was wondering if you could connect it directly to another computer and send or extract some files between both of them because i have several large games in steam that i made a backup of, but they are 10gb+ games and it takes forever with regular USB 2.0 thumb drives, but i tried plugging the cable from one computer to another, and it just doesn't recognize the device at all, so I wanted to know if theres was a way to transfer data between my two computers (yes, they are both USB 3.0 compatible, hurrdurr).

You cannot connect two computers using a normal USB cable. You need a so called bridged USB cable (USB networking cable): Amazon.com: Sewell Direct - Fastlynx USB 2.0 Bridge Cable, 6 Foot: Home & Kitchen

You obviously have a network so just share the files and copy them this way

This tutorial helps you in sharing a folder, so that other computers on the same network can access it and download stuff from it.
Assuming that all PCs are connected to the same network (if you have a router to get on the Internet, then it's likely the case). And that you set the homegroup options for all of them correctly.

On average, that method gives you more or less USB 3.0 transfer speeds, or more if you have gigabit ethernet cards on the PCs doing this (and you use the ethernet cables to connect to a gigabit ethernet router).
