Icon Request: New Monitors?

In case anyone hasn't noticed, icons in W7 which feature computer monitors are the ones found in Vista, but they don't match the rest of W7's icons.

Here's a gallery featuring examples of what I mean.


Could someone perhaps re-make those icons, using the monitor found in the Gadgets icon? I find it more fitting for the visual style.

Why not just use Mr. Grims icons for W7 .. they are really nice!

I find them kind of corny. They're too dark, plus the hardware icons (CD Drives, Flash Cards, etc) look weird. It reminds me of an old WindowBlinds XP pack, where everything was either a hue of Dark Blue or Black.


If Grim were to create a new icon pack that was light blue, and matching the rest of W7, I'd gladly DL.

I have already requested that a light blue (RGB values of 158/180/255) be made - it is a lot nicer on the eyes, and I personally like it - I call it my custom baby blue.
