IE 10 to be run in browser mode IE8 permenatntly

Dear Experts

Although I am not a fan on using internet explorer.

My laptop has IE 10 installed ,,,,I am using this laptop for my work and there are some website work related should be run in IE8 or compatibility mode.

Every day when I use those websites (work related) I have to use F12 --> Browser mode : IE8, or Tools --> Compatibility view settings

How can I make either one of these changes to stay permanently ? or Can do I need to install IE8.

Hi Zillah and welcome to SevenForum,
It would be unusual to have to repeat adding the same site to your Comp-view list everyday/ is this the case ?
Also is the Broken page icon not appearing on the url address bar ?
Have you tried to switch Document modes instead of Browser modes ?
