Solved IE Keeps Prompting for Flash Install!!!

IE 9, 64-bit won't display flash objects on web pages, prompts me to install Flash Player, which I have done now A DOZEN TIMES... Most times now when I click on <Install Flash> it does NOTHING, and I am left without the ability to properly view flash objects on the web. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING and how can I fix it?

Thanks for any and all advice. Running WIndows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Well IE-64 needs a special version of Flash for 64 bit. You should go to adobes website and look for it dirctly.

But also, if you have active X filtering on by default on the internet zone (which you should), you will also get this message. So in that case click the little blue circle with a slash to the right of the URL window and turn off active X filtering for that page...

I am not sure where the active x filtering control is, but I downloaded adobe flash 11 beta which seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the advice!
