Solved IE11 address bar loses focus while typing

SOLVED!

I somehow missed tesseract's post. In my case it was the LastPass toolbar. Upon further investigation I noticed I only had the problem when I used the full toolbar. Compact toolbar had no such issue.

That is great news. I know how annoying such delays can be. It is odd how we get used to the timing of things :-)

Just had exactly the same problem and it turned out that for me it was the HP print assistant that needed to be disabled. Hope this might help someone!

Thank You! In my case it was HP Smart Print 2.6. I also have LastPass, but that was thankfully not the culprit for me. Since I look at the keyboard when I type, this dropping of focus on a new tab was really annoying!
