I'm have some BSOD trouble with a 1.5 month old lenovo x201:

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
i7 M620
8 Gb RAM
128 Gb SSD

A couple weeks ago I had to restore the system to original state (using rescue and restore) after I could not start-up following a what I suspect was a combination of a windows and bios updates. BSOD come up every couple of days and don't seem to have changed at all since before the restore.

I've attached the minidump and perfmon report as requested. If anyone can take a shot at interpetting the results it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Peter

Hi, peter
Your dump have error code: 0x1A (memory management) and 0x4E (probably cause by driver).

Start troubleshooting by uninstall AVG and replace it with MSE.

Since there is 0x1A issue, perform memory test at least 5 passes.

These drivers need to do update :
Tppwr64v.sys --> ThinkPad Pwr Mgmt Port
smiifx64.sys --> SMI Driver for Lenovo system
mdmxsdk.sys --> Conexant Modem Diagnostic Interface x86 Driver
BrUsbSer.sys --> Brother MFC USB Serial WDM Driver
BrSerId.sys --> Brother Serial I/F Driver (WDM)
e1k62x64.sys --> Intel(R) Ethernet

Thank for the very quick reply. I didn't know about the AVG BSOD issues and I'll take the time to run those updates again.I had alreday run 5 passes of the full lenovo diagnotsics but and evrything came up clean. I'll try it again with Memtest and see if it finds anything.
