Internet connection dropping

I apologise if this has been covered but here goes

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and have a Devolo 500 to provide a wired connection to the outside world but my connection is dropping on a regular basis. BT have checked everything and replaced the Modem, we are on Infinity.

Is there a log that is specific to this problem that I can copy and paste here for some of you to have a look at. The BT help software is good and always gets me back on line and sometimes it tells me that it is Releasing and Renewing my IP address
