Invisible BSOD on computer wake after long periods - Hard reset needed

OK so that's shaken something loose, it's pointing to Intel Rapid Start Storage Technology driver.

Do you use that feature? If not I'd suggest uninstalling it.

I have no idea unless it comes factory on these computers?! I'll look into it in more detail when I get home. AWESOME to finally find it pointing to something though!!

Thanks a lot and will let you know!

OK, so I disabled the intel rapid start tech in the bios and now when I close the lid on the computer it just goes to sleep but doesn't hibernate. I don't have a problem with this but I will try and make it hibernate manually just to see if the problem is solved as I am unable to duplicate how it used to be handled. It also pops up when I restart the computer and warns me that I do not have intel rapid start tech enabled but I'm sure I can find a way to solve that. For now, no more blue screens, but like I said I will try and dupe the problem and see what happens. Awesome support here and I thank you guys a lot!!!!!!
