Is my Windows genuine? not that I don't know how to check

Hi,

I recently bought a new computer from someone who builds custom computers, in the excitement of getting it I forgot to check if the windows was genuine but I did ask if it came with the installation disc and he said it was in the box, upon getting home I opened the box to find a CD with WLDR written on it, at first I didn't know why it said that but when I put the disc into the computer there was one folder on the CD called Windows Loader, I know that a windows loader is for activating non genuine copy's of windows however when I went to the Microsoft website and ran the genuine checking tool it said it was genuine. Is it really genuine or does a windows loader fix the genuine check?

Unfortunately its counterfeit - its not possible for a retail motherboard/custom built system to run an Asus OEM and report as genuine. The installation of MSOffice is also counterfeit.

You can report this guy to Microsoft and they will help you get a legit version. Sometimes even for cheaper since you got swindled.
