I'm new here... The Remote Comms External Disk Access somehow showed up on my system programs. Is this used for specific USB portable drives? Any information is appreciated. RickC

I was unable to find much information about RCEDA, it appears to be a shareware software which may of been download with something else you installed.

You should first run Antivirus, Spyware, and Malware scans, remove anything the scanners find.

If your worried this software will disable another program, just create a system restore point before removing it.

This way if something stops working after removing it, you can go back to that restore point.

I personally feel it is just some crap which got in through a third party download.

Perhaps, one of our other members may know more about this.
