is there really no way to turn on aero on incompatible hardware ?

hello,

i recently bought an old hp compaq with mobile intel 915gm express chipset , and im wondering if there is a way i can turn aero on i know that that harware isnt compatible but there must me a way, i've searched for ways to do that but nothing seem to work (register changes)
is anyone of u ever found a way to make aero possible on an ncoompatible device ?

It depends on whether your video driver is WDDM based.

Windows Aero is supported only with a driver based on Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM). Windows Aero isn't supported with a driver based on Windows* XP Display Driver Model (XPDM or XDDM).To check if a WDDM driver is installed, find your graphics driver version number and look at the first number. If the first number is “7”, you're using a WDDM driver. If it is “6”, you're using an XPDM driver.

If the laptop is compatible, you should try updating the graphics drivers. (I recommend using Advanced Driver Updater by Systweak.)
