Every now and then I come to my computer and the hard drive is going crazy. And something is on the network. However the second I touch the mouse all activity stops. Hard drive goes back to normal and same for network. Before we all go jumping in the virus boat I have already done scans with mbam avast and the such. Infact I suspect avast might be doing it as it is always trying to update itself. But there lies the problem I DONT KNOW. So is there a little program that i can turn on to monitor my network and what is accessing it? It will need to be based on history as the second i try to investigate what it is it turns off.
Thanks
Edit: The more i think about it this the more i think it should have gone in the security section instead of the network/sharing section. If it needs to be moved my apologies.
