iTunes won't install: "The installer has insufficient privileges to...

I tried updating to the latest iTunes version, but got a message at the end of the install attempt: "The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\ProgramFiles\iTunes. The installation cannot continue. Log on as Administrator or contact your system administrator."

I am the administrator. I right clicked administrator before attempting to install the iTunes download.

I never had a problem or issue downloading iTunes before.

I completely uninstalled iTunes from my computer and tried downloading iTunes again, but had the same issue?

I tried dropping my MSSE antivirus to no avail, same thing.

So completely lost how to fix this issue. Any help resolving this issue would be appreciated, Thanks.

R. I'm not sure how to do that correctly. I followed a YouTube video on permissions and thought I did it correctly, but I still have the issue. Is there a How To fix video on this forum for this issue?

I Googled my issue and got this link from MS: Cannot complete installation of itunes on Windows 7 64 bit - Microsoft Community.

I get to #6-7 on that link, but I'm not sure which buttons I should be clicking on to add or remove, The System, Acer (Acer-PC\Acer), Administrators (Acer-PC\Admin)?

I tried installing the iTunes download again, but got the same message.

I haven't changed permissions or even attempted to prior to downloading the latest iTunes version and never had an issue downloading/installing iTunes before. So I'm kind of baffled as to how or why these permissions could have been changed to require me to adjust permissions now?

Okay thanks, appreciate the response and download link.

I used step 2. To Add "Take Ownership" to Context Menu. Wasn't sure about the other two steps?

Note
Application files (ex: EXE, CMD, MSI) will still have Run as administrator instead of Take Ownership in the context menu when you use this step.

A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 5 below.

I right clicked this download on my desktop and clicked merge and then tried the iTunes download, but I got the same error message. I restarted my computer thinking maybe this would effectuate a resolve or download.

So I tried the above download again, but this time double-clicking the link. Then I tried downloading iTunes again, and it somehow worked? Don't fully understand the concept as to how, but I'm not complaining.
