Ive accidentaly deleted/disabled admin account throught standart user.
Now I cant get it back, so I cant run anything which needs admin right, even enabling admin account
What now? I wanted to format partition and install windows again, but another problem, I get error that windows install process cannot find drivers for my dvd rom! LOL! but windows was already booted from that dvd. wtf. please help
I have known this to happen due to some glitch in the system.
There should be a fail-safe built into the system that will enable the Full administrator account in safe mode should the last admin account be disabled accidentally.
Due to this being caused by a glitch the Fail-safe does not always operate. In these cases there are other techniques that may be used to activate the full administrator account external to windows.
However because this can also be used to circumvent legitimate security in place on a system I would advise the original poster to contact a local technician who can perform this action after verifying the legitimacy of the request.

I know it looks unreal - disabling admin account in local user - but I was trying something as standart user. I normally use admin account, so I know password. So when in standart user I was playing with security rights or what ever it is called, UAC asked me for admin password and after that I (still dont know how) disabled admin account.
But now everything works. I went to safe-mode, to my suprise there was option to log in as ALREADY DISABLED adminnistrator account. So I logged in and enabled admin again.
So problem solved.
P.S.: sorry for my grammar, hope you can understand.
I recently did the exact same thing just today. except I was trying to delete the local host in order to delete a shortcut to copper.net. I am trying to figure out how to run it in safe mode?? I will try anything that is not complicated. Or I have to download anything because I am not online on that comp. thanks !

FWIW:
Problems like this are another reason for making sure that you have a good image of your C drive. I create an image at least twice a week as I keep trying new thing and my computer gets discombobulated (that's a technical term for all screwed up )
I have several external usb drives and run Acronis True Image home to create an image of my total C drive, including the 100meg partition.
It is a real warm fuzzy to know that I can recover really fast.
