Has anyone used Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator 1.4 with Win-7

System Requirements state ...
Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1, Windows Vista,
Windows XP, Windows XP Service Pack 1, Windows XP Service Pack 2
The "Global Development Site" link is no longer available

Is KLC suitable for Win-7 ?

Thank you for your input :-)

From your tip-off ...
Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator 1.4 is not compatible with Win-7
I can remap keys with RandtRant's - SharpKeys

I use Ctrl+Insert to show my clipboard extender (ClipX) but occasionally I poke the Insert key on its own and end up unwittingly in "Overwrite" mode.
I am hoping to use AutoHotKey to hook the Insert key ....
Keydown event Ctrl+Insert to show my clipboard extender
KeyUp event Insert to modify the Insert key state to "Insert" mode

My apologies for late reply, my health is interfering with life

I wonder if setting the Compatibility mode to XP for the Creator .exe file would solve your problem.
