I have all settings configured for laptop to hibernate if the battery reaches critical level, but laptop just lets it go to absolute zero without any warnings and actions and then abrupt shut down happens, like if you take the power plug out when using a regular PC. This is my power settings:

I have hibernation enabled and hiberfil.sys (5.9GB) is present on my C drive.

Is hibernate working correctly when you click it from the Shut Down choices on Start Menu?

Will it time out correctly if you set it to 2 minutes and Sleep to 1 minute to test it in Power Options?

If Hibernate otherwise works correctly I would restore default plan for your chosen plan to see if that helps.

I would also try Balanced Plan which seems to work better as I've never seen problems with it before while we see problems with High Performance.
