You referring to the catalyst version number? If so it usually isn't included in hotfix drivers, and as a result will show version number of whatever the last installed was. That line will also not be there is there was nothing before (clean Windows install, or driver cleaner of some kind) the hotfix was installed.

I had the Guru3d 11.7 test version installed..
ran some tests, then reverted back to the 11.6 WHQL version

the current 11.6 WHQL drivers run fine, despite my "mystery" 11.7 version number....

OK so I updated to the latest version and I have to admit I haven't had any problems yet.

First time I updated in several months in fact. I'll continue to use the latest driver and if I don't have any problems I'll keep it, if I experience any problems I reverting back again!

I don't know if this is happening for anyone else, but this latest update has jacked up my monitor. Making non-stop flickering (made a post about it in the graphic cards section).

it's running my 6870's ok, at the mo' - single SyncMaster P2050

no probs with monitor running @60Hz via 1600x900 widescreen..

That seems to be working at the moment.

I have my main monitor that is a ViewSonic set to 1920x1080 @ 70Hz plus my secondary, which is just a Dell with 1280x1024 @ 60Hz. It was just weird that the flickering jumped between screens, depending on what I was doing (or what settings I tweaked).

Hi all,

New to forums here.

Windows 7 64bit and Diamond Radeon 5670 will not install. Blue Screens everytime with 0x0ca

Can make no adjustments..Anyone seeing this?
