Solved Libraries/Desktop question

I am terminally confused by the new Win7 Libraries view, as opposed to the nice old XP Windows Explorer. Specifically, I have a folder for a current project saved on the desktop where I can get at it quickly. It contains docs, pics, subfolders, and needs some sorting. I could easily do this on XP with drag and drop in an Explorer view. But I can't get the desktop folder with its subfolders to show in the Libraries view - I am reduced to cutting and pasting into the right subfolder, which is a pain.

Is there any way of making Libraries show subfolders in a desktop folder?

OOPS! Should have looked in the Tutorials first.... Now I have discovered the option to Expand and Collapse in the left-hand pane, all is solved. Anyway, if you have been, thanks for reading!

If it helps, remember that Libraries are just collections of folders, rather than actual folders themselves. I think that's where most people go wrong in learning how the new libraries work... :)
