Life of Lead Acid Batteries and Damages Question?

Hi all I would like to ask a couple of questions!

Q1 - How much Amps does my PC use when it's on IDLE Mode and PEAK mode? (See My System Specs below)

Q2 - Does leaving a PC on IDLE (as in Desktop or Downloading for a while) damage/reduce Lead Acid batteries life?

The 2nd question coming to my mind because long story short! Yesterday there was a black out and I wasn't aware of it as I was taking a little nap while my PC was just downloading game on Steam and about after 15mins my eyes were opened I ran back to my room the PC was still on and closed everything quickly and shut everything down properly and that's it! so I just want to know that can it hurt the life of Lead Acid batteries that are in my 750w UPS with dual 12v 9ah Batteries in it?

Should I be worried or it is normal practice for batteries? I usually shutdown my PC within 1 to 2 mins when there is an Power Outage on scheduled timings everyday as it happens in my country everyday.

Answer to Q 1. It's very difficult to workout how much power it will use as it depends on what is actually being done by the computer at the time & this can vary a lot.

Answer to Q 2. No it will not damage the lead acid batteries as they are protected by the UPS & have an auto shut down when the voltage gets too low. That's why there is a time limit on how long you have to safely shut down the computer.

Don't worry about your UPS as it will look after itself. Does yours have software loaded on the computer so you can monitor battery charge & condition?.

My UPS beeps as soon as the power fails & it keeps beeping every few seconds until I shut down.

Perhaps you can connect the USB cable and install the management software so PC will auto shutdown in case of a failure. I believe you should be draining the batteries once every month-2 months for a longer life anyway so it shouldn't hurt.
