Linux coming up in boot menu even though I have deleted it from system

Hi hoping someone can help me out with this problem.
Ok I put linux on a seperate drive(external) I then deleted it as i didnt want it anymore so I deleted it off of the external drive and now it keeps on coming up in bios as bootable for some reason I have conpletely deleted linux off the drive..why is it still coming up?!
Please help have tried system repair and still comes up

Hi would reinstalling windows and wiping the drive get rid of it?

I know but that tutorial was pretty big..I need to reinstall anyways hardrive is becoming a bit cluttered and all my files are on a seperate drive so its no biggy...would it fix the problem?? Thanks

Seems to have worked thanks for the tutorial and the help. I have got the programe to skip boot menu but if i were to uninstall easybcd would the settings i made still work ?

1. Apparently you did not clean the disk before you reinstalled. If you have an independent 100MB active system partition, a reinstall would not fix that. it will just add a new BCD entry into that bootmgr.

2. Do the EasyBCD steps. There may be one little problem in Step 3. Because of your reinstall, you may have 2 Windows7 BCDs in the bootmgr. Make sure you delete the old one. Steps 4 and 5 should be easy though.

PS: You are too fast for me - LOL. EasyBCD has done the job. You can uninstall it. But I would keep it. May come in handy at another time.

Yes, click Edit Boot Entry, select Ubuntu or Linux or whatever it is called and select Delete:

Thanks very much everything looks normal in diskmanagment..thanks again ...haha reinstalled windows for nothing lol. Nevermind pc is faster now. added a picture is this how its supposed to look? thanks
