I am new to Windows 7. In XP and Vista, the QL icons would stay on the left side of the taskbar, while the open programs populated across the taskbar. Is there a way to keep this setup? I do not like the look of the "always combine" option, preferring to see everything open until the taskbar is filled and then have the programs begin to stack/combine. However, with the "combine when full" option, the unopen icons get distributed between open program tabs. Thanks!

Quick Launch is less useful in Windows7 than in Vista. Plus, if you ever run the System File Checker, the tweak will get messed up. I found toolbars to be a more than adequate alternative, plus you can make a folder structure which helps the shortcut organization, especially if you have a lot of shortcuts (programs, webpages, files, system shortcuts). http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/72092-toolbars-how-use-windows-7-vista.html
