Looking at my HD info what size SSD in terms of size to recommend ?

As you can see from the screenshot , this is what i have had and continue to have as far as storage on my computer .

Judging from the screenshot what size SSD in terms of GB would you recommend ?

You're only using 30 GB.

If you don't figure that is going to grow significantly, 80 or maybe 120 ought to be plenty. You are the world's foremost authority on how fast your storage requirements might grow.

Mine is 80, growing at maybe 2 GB per year, mostly because of Windows updates. But I don't keep data on C.

Larger SSDs are somewhat faster, but I don't think you'd ever notice the difference except in a benchmark.

A 120 GB drive is $60 or so, cheaper when on sale. Normally only put your Win 7 and programs on the SSD. You can put a lot of programs on a 120 GB. Use your current HDD to put your documents, pictures, music etc. With the Documents on a separate drive, you won't have to touch them if you ever have to install Windows again. Good luck.

A 120GB or 250GB model will be ample. They are both cheap. Currently you use only 30GB but data has the habit to mushroom.

Here are some options. I would go for the Mushkin. I have 2 of those and they are great. And since I have 5 others from other makes too, I can compare.

Much faster boot and wake times too. Very happy with an inexpensive Samsung EVO 120 gigger.
