Solved Looking for icon link

Hi guys

Does anyone have an alternative link to the Full Glass Purple Icon Pack featured here - Icon Packs Without Installers. I'm looking for the loose icons not the one with the installer as I want to edit my own system files. The download from the site is with media fire but the downloaded zip file is corrupt and the icons don't extract properly.

Well, I've tried the following:

Download the installer icon pack ~ X64 Full Glass Purple Icon Pack Installer - Free Download from mediafire - FilesTube.com
Extract the ~ x64_Full_Glass_Purple_Icon_Pack_Installer
Browse ~ Data/System32 folder and
Extract with 7zip ~ "imageres.dll"

So, a folder with the name ".rsrc" will be extracted and I guess all the icons are in the ".rsrc/ICON" folder.

Yer I did the same sort of thing in the end and saved each icon individually with icon viewer. A bit of a chore and not all of the icons are included in the files for example the recorded tv icon is not there in any of the system files but there is an icon for it in the loose packs because Its in with other colours. I had to convert some .png images to .ico for the missing ones. Its more of an annoyance as I have most of those packs downloaded but the one I like the most is broken lol.
I've left a message for the icon maker on that site to see if he can sort it.

Danny, download it from the link that LuciferDreams posted . Extract it, and you will get four things ... a Data folder, two batch files and a text file . In the data folder , there are another folder syswow64, which contains four dll files which contains the icons actually. You can extract the icons using IcoFX . Before beginning, make four new folders named after the four dll files in that syswow64 folder.

Download and install IcoFX, and then run it. Click on Tools > Batch Process


You will get the Batch Process window, like this :


Now, first , click on the "extract icons from resources" , and then add the file (take imaderes.dll at first) from which you are wanting the extraction . If you have extracted the downloaded zip on desktop, it is Desktop\data\syswow64\imageres.dll.


Now, set the output path to the newly created imageres folder on desktop.


Now, click the OK button and wait a few seconds , and you will get this message :


What is there in the imageres folder now? let's have a look there are 219 high res .ico files


Do the same process for all the dll files in the same way, you will be able to extract all icons .

looking good danny, i was using full glass blue until recently , i changed to the hud system icons. mark,mr grim is the best in my opinion, im using the H2O theme at the moment.

I agree his icon packs are immense unfortunately there's always a few in the installers I don't want so I have to make my own modded system files but I enjoy doing it.
