So far im loving windows 7 x64 can't see myself ever going back to vista or xp again. I temporarily switched back to vista after finding some programs and games didn't work, but am back on 7 now and managed to find alternatives to software I had problems with!
Deamon tools didn't work - Virtual Clone drive 'freeware' wokrs fine!
Macdrive didn't work - HFS Explorer 'requires java' works fine!
The crysis problems are 64 bit orientated so vist x64 and xp x64 also have the non startup bug 'runs in 32 bit mode though'
Far cry on steam is the same seems to not run properly on 64 bit os...
So basically the game problems aren't just windows 7, and the software alternatives are working fine.. roll on retail release
