I was wondering if windows 7 running on the latest bootcamp has any form of support for the forward and backward swipes on the magic mouse. I have everything such as horizontal scrolling and zoom working, but I'd love for this mouse to be able to browse things a bit faster.

anyone have any answers for me?

Thanks in advance,
~Fydo

What do you mean by forward and backward swipes? Just scrolling like you would on Mac OS X?

If that is the case it's already built in, just try it.

If you insert your Mac OS X installation disc while you're in Windows, you'll be able to install Apple's drivers for Windows. And I assume you mean mouse gestures. Yes, you can use those. Web browsers are usually mouse-gestured enabled (ie Opera), or can be enabled with extensions/addons (ie Chrome/Firefox).

Hi everyone,
Thank you all for responding, i've already intalled all the appropriate drivers from the bootcamp CD and i have the scrolling bit down, but those are only gestures with one finger. What i mean by forward/blackward swipes is when you use two fingers, in say safari (in OSX) you are are able to use two fingers and swipe left or right, to go back and forwards accordingly through visited pages. Is that possible on windows 7 in expllorer? I've looked through the option of the mouse that the bluethtooth has discovered and added for me, but i don't see anywhere a ways of defining this "motion". if only this mouse had a back and forward 'gesture'... any answers?

Sorry the answer is no.

Apple has created a very limited driver for Boot Camp, but count your blessings at least there is a driver. ;)
